Plastic Free July is upon us, and you’ll be seeing regular updates and tips to eliminate Plastic in your life. Make sure to follow our pages for exciting and innovative ways to be the solution!

2020 has affected all of us, in ways no one could predict. Our ambitious goal of hosting Canada’s largest consolidated clean-up with the Run Against Plastic, has been postponed until further notice.

Our good friend and cross-country runner, who inspired us to develop this initiative, is out running around BC cleaning our highways. We implore you all to have a quick look at his social pages on Facebook or Instagram for inspiration of one man’s continuous journey to #cleanupcanada.

With all of this in mind, we have been brainstorming on “How do you not only motivate, but activate a nationwide clean-up?” With social distancing regulations and large community clean-ups off the table, we can no longer hold workshops to inform and inspire all to eliminate plastic from their lives, where possible. And film screenings? Yeah, not an option.

Over the past few months, we have received countless e-mails and messages from concerned citizens wanting to help. There seemed to be only one option. Make a challenge and offer an amazing prize to inspire Canadians. Not only to get out there and help, but also to learn about the different types of plastic and how they might effect our environment.

So get out there fellow Canadians!

We are offering A trip for 2 to Vancouver Island in 2021 with 3 ways to enter:

1 – Complete the scavenger hunt form and e-mail it to us at [email protected]

2 – Buy the badge! Show your support and help us quantify
this data and identify where we have issues.

3 – Do a mini fundraiser!

You’ve got 10 days to enter, so let’s see what we can do! From our entire team, lets make Canada clean again, TOGETHER!
